Job Description

Software Engineer is a highly technical role where the Engineer primarily is responsible for Networking Products validation and automation of test cases.

Excellent skills in automation using latest scripting languages

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Test Plans for Optimal Qualification of Products and complex features.
  • Develop, Execute, Automate complex feature test plans in the areas of Platform, Chassis Management, Power Management, Switch Fabric Management, Packet Forwarding Engines, Interfaces and next gen Optics.
  • Automation skills is a must , expert in python and other scripting languages
  • Ability to develop script infra for platform and interfaces technologies
  • Work closely with cross functional teams across geographies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BE/ME/MCA in CS/ECE or similar field
  • 5 - 7 years of complex platform test and expert in automation
  • Exceptional understanding of Product Platform Architectures, Product Forwarding Architectures
  • Good understanding of Network deployments in Service Provider, Data Center and Enterprise space.
  • Experience in Broadcom chipset based products is good to have
  • Very Strong automation skills and experience with scripting languages like Python and Robot.
  • Very Strong analytical and debugging skills on linux /freebsd based Routing and Switching platforms to troubleshoot, isolate and resolve issues/bugs.
  • Certifications in networking like JNCIS/JNCIP or equivalent will be an added advantage
  • Strong Team player who is Proactive, approachable and has the ability
