Be the Product & Service owner for Network Tranport ServicesDevelop a Strategy and roadmap for Network Transport ServicesProactively researches and identifies new WAN/LAN transport technologies and Network Virtualization that will bring value to the Bank in terms of performance improvement and cost reductionWork with Engineering Subject Matter Expert to develop Designs and creates new infrastructure solutions and integrations which provide environmental and operational simplicity.Engage Network Automation team and drive Engg PoC and solutions with automation focus to integrate capabilities of multiple products for use by the Network Delivery and Network Operation teamsEnsure standard best practices configuration & Design standards are in placeMakes directional recommendation, taking into account multiple factors, including risks, alignment with network strategy and roadmap and cost/benefit analysis.Drive RFI/RFP and work with product SME to develop functional specifications and requirements for Network initiated Projects as well as contributing to cross domain RFI/RFP for network requirements.Represent Network Engineering in Security Architecture Council and Technology Council to review new product, solutions and architecture design standards.Engage peers in technical dialog considering new ideas and applicability to the banks environment.Perform review on network incidents and identify chronic issues and drive to remediate these issues.For high severity incidents, participate in root cause analysis session to assess whether further remediation is required so as to improve the service level.Our Ideal CandidateMinimum 10 years experience in Network Design, Architecture or Product Engineering with experience leading a team in delivering technology centric customer focused servicesDiploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, or its equivalentPreferably possess a valid Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, CCIE certification or equivalentStrong knowledge in Network Transport Technology MPLS, PBB, VxLAN, IPSEC, QoS, BGP, OSPF, GRE, WAN Acceleration, SDWANExperience in delivering Software Defined WANDesign and implementation experience in integrating the automation capabilities across traditional and software defined Network productExperience in working with product vendors and developers to integrate the API capabilities for designing solutions for specific use-caseGood technical leadership and sound problem analysis and resolution abilities.Excellent communication skills oral, written and presentation; technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences.Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation s goal.
