Job Description

Wanted: Global Innovators to Help Us Build Tomorrow s Enterprise As a Calypso Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture, process artifacts, and implement the deployment plan. You will perform Calypso configurations for front, middle and back office requirements, and develop customizations as needed. You will perform testing activities, right from unit testing to systems/system-integration testing and assist/perform user acceptance testing as needed by the project. You may be involved in data migration activities as needed. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required. At least 5 years of overall Technical experience in Java, J2EE, Oracle/Sybase, and Unix Shell Scripting. At least 2 years of solid hands-on experience on the Calypso platform (version 14 and upwards desired) with prior experience in design and development, customization, extension, system integration, version upgrade and on-going maintenance and production support projects. Sound knowledge of Capital Markets domain having understanding of various financial instruments, including Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Derivatives, FX Markets and Trading Systems business functions. Understanding of technical architecture surrounding the package including integration with different systems & their impact on the solution. Agile and DevOps experience, including hands-on experience on CI/CD tools. Understanding & experience of tailoring of methodologies to suit customer/project needs. Experience in environment management, build and deployment management. Planning and Co-ordination skills. Ability to drive conversation with business teams with minimal support from peers Liaise with the Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Testers to ensure they understand the technical requirements of the systems Experience in performance and automation testing and tuning of Calypso system. Fitment analysis and recommendations for trading systems from technical view point. An ability to lead small teams at a module or small project level. An appreciation of other technologies available in the market.,
