Job Description

Position: TEST LEAD/SENIOR OF ENTERPRISE DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, BANGALORE PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new QA team to support our clients strategic enterprise data management (EDM) platform for quarterly vendor releases and business change.
  • Our team: Works closely with both other teams in our organisation and the clients to develop the test framework, plan, and activities and then deliver the quality assurance required to allow the client to successfully introduce change into production.
  • Technologies used: GoldenSource EDM, Oracle, SQL, Java
  • Opportunities: As a team lead you have the opportunity to help shape the teams role and responsibilities and help implement new technologies and processes to expand and deepen test coverage and improve time to release.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This is a hands on team lead role requiring working with end users, platform vendor, business analysts and developers to create and extend the test framework, test plans for quarterly releases and the various test cases and scenarios needed to achieve acceptance in the various test phases up to release.
SKILLSMUST
  • Experience of GoldenSource / Markit EDM / Xenomorph and AssetControl Project - experience working with Agile/Wfall for scope management, scheduling, quality criteria definition and stakeholder engagement.
  • Quality - ensuring quality / acceptance criteria are clearly agreed with appropriate teams and that test coverage is able to deliver this.
  • System - ideally having experience with functional and regression testing for enterprise data management systems.
  • Communication & soft skills - ability to clearly communicate at all levels and across multiple domains.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Investment banking technology experience
  • Data management & governance experience in capital markets
  • Capital markets data experience (reference, static, market, etc)
  • Regulatory project experience e.g. Mifid2, DF, EMIR, FRTB
  • Software development (basic) Python, Bash, Java
  • Test automation and test frameworks
