Roles and ResponsibilitiesAs a software lead/architect, you will work on cutting edge family of products viz. 1FINITYLambda, Transport and Edge with responsibility for end to end ownership and delivery of a feature or set of features or product development including Requirement Analysis, Architecture and Design with hands-on development, testing/test automation, bug fixing.Responsible for analyzing, reproducing, debugging and resolving issues reported by internal and/or external customers. Responsible for delivering maintenance and patch releases quickly.Responsible for working with and coordinating with engineering teams across globe and local partner staff. Coordinate development and testing activities between development centers across various locations.Desired Candidate ProfileExperience in Architecture & design of products/features ground-up. Experience with embedded real time operating systems, embedded real time Linux is a plus Experience with containers, Kubernetes/dockers is a plus. Experience in SONET/SDH/OTN/ROADM/Ethernet services Should have good experience of scripting/automation, Python is plus Experience in YANG/ConfD/SDN/SNMP/NetConf/REST is a definite plus Experience in C and C++ programming Experience with open source tools/environment like Git/Stash, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence,valgrind, gtest/gmock, Sonarcube, Fisheye/Crucible Should have strong analytical and debugging skills Should have 10-20 years of work experience Good communication skills for regular interactions with internal and external teams Exposure to sound software engineering practices/Agile is a plus You will be required to: Be a technical lead/architect for a team of 3-5 engineers with responsibility for end to endfeature development Review Requirements & Architecture as part of core team. Design and development of features/components in a timely manner and high quality. Analyze, reproduce, debug, and resolve issues reported by internal and/or external customers ina timely manner. Provide guidance and work with local partner/contractor staff. Work with engineering teams across globe. Occasional travel is required. Train and mentor junior members of the team Ability to learn new technologies quickly Ability to study competitors/market and current products and suggest improvementsShould be able to move from one assignment to another quickly with little to no ramp up time Communicate status in clear and concise manner Communicates and escalates issues in a timely manner.,
