Job SummaryThis position has responsibility for administrating multiple databases in complex and production support Oracle Applicationas environment. Person has to collaborate with the global team of onshore and offshore DBAs, Developers, Functional and Testing Teams.Responsibilities

  • Undertake installations, upgrades, migrations, cloning and patch management of Oracle E-Business Suite environments
  • Perform application and database tuning, performance monitoring and trouble shooting
  • Work with development team on a daily basis to handle custom code migration, data fixes and extracts, and fixing performance issue
    • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience as Apps DBA
    Desired Skills
    • Strong professional with minimum 8 years of experience in DBA support of Oracle E-Business Suite
    • Hands on experience in EBS 12.2 with 19c Database experience.
    • Must have EBS 12.2 Experience and 12c database administration experience.
    • Having knowledge of addressing security issues like implementing SSL/TLS , TCPS is a plus.
    • Having Knowledge of AD Integrations and SSO implantation of EBS is a plus.
    • Must have experience on R12 RAC and Sun Solaris / Unix administration
    • Must have good knowledge on AD Utilities.
    • Must have knowledge of Fusion Middleware, Weblogic / SOA Suite administration
    • Should have worked closely with Oracle Product Support for chasing and resolving the SRs
    • Must have strong ability to work independently, and own the responsibility of reviewing and resolving issues across multiple systems
    • Have high degree of adaptability. Incumbent will be faced with a variety of issues on a day-to-day basis and will be expected to respond to these issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
    • Knowledge of EPM Hyperion applications, Oracle BI Publisher is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of Oracle Exalytics is plus.
    • Knowledge of using Quest / Dell Stat is a plus.
    • Ability to mentor junior team members.
    • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
    • Experience on OCI Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
    • Will be expected to work as On-Call DBA (monthly rotation), work on weekends (must) and work in shifts (morning and afternoon).
