Job Description

    Primary Responsibilty:Oracle BRMRequired InformationDetails1. Role:-OBRM Developer2.Required Skill Set:-
    • Strong knowledge and hands on experience of Oracle BRM.
    • Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL.
    • Good Knowledge of Telcom OSS / BSS Understanding.
    3. Desired Experience Range:- 4 to 15 YrsDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Must-Have OBRM:
    • Strong knowledge of Account Management, Billing and Revenue Management processes, Invoicing & Journals.
    • Handson developer experience in OBRM including product configuration using Pricing Center/PDC, Opcodes and Policy codes, MTA, Stored procedures, Pipeline, iScripts.
    • Strong ability to gather requirements, analyze data and map business requirements to technical.
    • Familiar with Data Extraction, Transformation and loading processes Proficiency in PL /SQL, Unix Shell scripting, C and Java languages. Should be able to extract the business rules based on reading the code/scripts.

    Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role1.Define scope of data to be extracted and ensure all the relevant data points are identified. Also design the data extraction process.2. Identifying and gathering detailed customer specific business requirements by interacting with users, designers, developers, and SMEs.3. Define validation rules, conduct data quality checks, co-ordinate with technical teams to perform unit testing and resolve any issues during data extraction process.4. Working with project stakeholders to understand and prioritize the business requirements and keeping them informed on progress of scheduled and day-to-day tasks.5. Understanding various Service types from Business and defining Extraction logic, cleansing rules, Business rules and defining sign off criteria to meet Customer expectation.6. Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the Business group, Regulatory Requirements, business drivers, evolving business needs etc.7. Work Closely with the Migration Transformation team to build features required to meet Customer requirements.8. Identifying and Defining workarounds, alternate process to meet Program objective as per timeline.9. Can Work as an individual contributor of BRM Development without any guidance from team and should be interested in grooming junior associates.
