Detailed Job Description and Requirements

• An experienced telecom consulting professional who has prior Design & Development working experience on BRM Operates independently to provide quality Design & implementation work products on OSM oriented solution.
• 5-6 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years telecom consulting experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience on BRM
• Must have played as a BRM architect role for at least 2 Telco projects
• Should have good knowledge of BSS domain such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP, Pots, IPTV
• Should have played developer or technical lead role in at least two implementations.
• Should be able to work both as an individual or in a team.
• Education - Should have done BE/BTech/MCA/MTech in any of this branch - Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunications.
• Should be able to convert the Requirements into a Technical Design Document
• Should be able to develop extensions on the BRM Opcodes
• Experience in Migration (upgrade) within different BRM versions and from other billing applications to BRM Application.
• 3-4 years experience in all technical aspects on BRM product implementation and customization with specific focus on Price plan, Pipeline rating, OPCODE customization and customization of various
• facility modules.
• Development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module.
• Knowledge on the account structure and hierarchy
• Working as a fully contributing team member,
• Building domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise, while adapting standard principles to new or changed conditions in day to day work.
• Good understanding of business trends and needs for communications service providers in the Billing Domain.
• Domain knowledge on Pre-paid, Post-paid Billing areas for ISP, Broadband, service providers.
• Domain Knowledge in any of the BSS Functional components (Billing, Rating, Invoicing, Mediation, Interconnect Billing & Settlement, Collection , Account Receivables).
• Experience in all technical aspects on BRM product implementation and customization with specific focus on Price plan, Pipeline rating, Discounting and various framework.
• Experience in C/C++, Oracle 9i / 10g, PL / SQL, Pro*C, Java. Experience in Application integration with BRM.
• Knowledge of any one middleware and Knowledge of SOA and (or) Web services will be desirable.
• Soft Skills - Good communication skills & interpersonal skills. - Should be able to articulate ideas and concepts in written and oral communication.
