Job Description

    • Proficiency in database technologies, includingOracle DBA, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, with experience in migrating these to Azure environments.
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, tools, and migration strategies, including:
      • Oracle Data Pump.
      • Oracle GoldenGate.
      • RMAN backup and restore.
    • Hands-on experience with database migration tools like:
      • Azure Database Migration Service (DMS).
      • Database Migration Assistant (DMA).
      • Oracle SQL Developer Migration Workbench.
    • Expertise in designing and managing databases in Azure SQL, Managed Instances, IaaS-hosted databases, and Oracle databases in Azure.
    • Strong SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills, with experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
    • Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures, including disaster recovery planning, sigh availability configurations, including RTO/RPO requirements.
    • Enforce database security standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations including encryption, user roles, and access control.
