Skills : Roles and Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include - Setup configuring Oracle applications / database - Oracle Apps 11.x, Oracle - 8.1.7 - Oracle database management - Oracle 7.x, Oracle 8.x Oracle Apps System administrator - OracleApps 10.7, Oracle Apps 11.x. Monitor concurrent jobs, monitor system performance, take appropriate action in emergency Production support for Database and Oracle Applications. Creating and Managing tables, Tablespaces. Transporting Tablespaces between databases. Managing log files and rollback segments. Automizing backup by writing scripts. Monitoring performance by developing tuning methodologies. Maintenance of data integrity by establishing standards. Skills and Job Requirements The candidate must be a graduate with 2 - 4 years of experience in Oracle database administration.Should have handled large installation base of Oracle and Oracle applications, Should be able to manage Oracle Apps 11.x Should have skill sets for user interaction, simulate the problem, open tar, fix the issue, database monitoring, installation, cloning, upgrade etc Should have the ability to set up and configure Oracle Apps (from administration point of view) of Oracle Applications 11.x environment.Should have worked with database administration for at least 3 years in a Unix and NT.Should also have good knowledge on Solaris / HP - UX / NT and should be able handle basic system administration requirement. You should have certification from Oracle for database administration. Should be eligible to get Visa (H1B / BL1). Knowledge of multiple OS would be preferred. HP/ Solaris/ MCSE Certification would be a plus.,
