As a Partner Development Manager Service Provider Network (SPN), with Amazon Seller Services India, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on strategy for Amazon s India venture www.amazon.in . This program is focused on the strategic and operational aspects of building a suite of apps & services through third party providers that can help sellers build their e-commerce business on Amazon. You will be expected to build a network of Amazon empaneled service providers who would deliver organic and new business growth to Amazon s marketplace through a suite of enablement services for sellers on the platform. This is first of its kind initiative for Amazon, hence the role is entrepreneurial in nature. Operating in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives. You will be held accountable for delivering a return on the investment Amazon makes in your business. You will be expected to define your business strategy, define and justify the operational plan and resources you require, and deliver on that plan. This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate. Candidates who delight in optimizing scarce resources and can strategically outline effective solutions rapidly should apply. The role requires the person to dive really deep in to processes and systems, needing to be completely hands-on and manage and influence at a high level at the same time. Role and Responsibilities: Your success will be measured by services and service providers launched and their adoption growing network of service providers, and impact on selling partner success by using their services. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and e-commerce challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. Partner with service providers to scale seller growth by driving adoption of assigned services Develop and implement strategic plans to build and improve partner experience in the market. Consult and coach partners to grow and achieve improved results on Amazon Drive marketing and communication strategy of the program, track and monitor performance of service providers Develop and implement acquisition strategy to drive scalable and sustainable advertiser growth Execute a rigorous measurement program to track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including reach and impact (including but not limited to service providers on-boarded, business growth impact) for your services, do root cause resolution to fix issues found, close the loop with stakeholders Educate and lead strategic conversations with partners and navigate complex relationships Be point of contact of the leadership and other teams This position is based in Bangalore, India and will require some travel.,
    • 3+ years of sales experience
    • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
    Bachelors degree required, MBA is preferred 4+ years of work experience with at least 2 years of experience at account management, brand management, performance marketing, digital marketing, sales or consulting. Exposure to data reporting tools like SQL Has managed critical operational processes, with end to end business responsibility. Strong process definition and optimization skills; proven ability to define effective, efficient, and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and defect elimination. Experience in a results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions. Strong analytical, mediation and problem resolution skills. Must be metrics-driven. Have a background in quantitative decision making, ability to drive business/operations metrics, and driving adoption of different tools and resources. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Skilled in collaborative management environment, succeeding through regular meetings and clear formal and informal communication with members of various teams. Ability to manage ambiguity by coping with uncertainty and risk, as well as adapting to change. Deep understanding of the India e-commerce market. . MBA from a reputed institute Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desired Experience with e-commerce, retail, shipping or process operations would be an advantage
