Job Description

*Design Customer Solutions with Partners to use Amazon Web Services such as Amazon Machine Learning, Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Redshift, Kinesis, Lex, Amazon Web Services Lambda, Data Pipeline, S3, DynamoDB, and the Relational Database Service (RDS)* Devise Strategy Engage with Solution Architects, Account Managers Professional Services and Partners to define an Analytics Engagement strategy for Amazon Web Services operational territories and key accounts.* Thought Leadership Provide global thought leadership on Analytics and Data Science solutions that benefit customers through the use of Amazon Web Services. This takes the form of contribution to external publications such as the Amazon Web Services Big Data Blog, Whitepapers and Reference architectures, as well as internal training of Solution Architects, Professional Services Consultants, Technical Account Managers, and Amazon Web Services Trainers* Serve as a key member of the business development and account management team in helping to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the Amazon Web Services platform.* Assist solution providers with the definition and implementation of technical and business strategies.* Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the worldwide Amazon Web Services solution architect community.* Understand Amazon Web Services market segments, and industry verticals.* Understand and exploit the use of internal business support systems., Outstanding customer relationship management experience and collaboration skills Experience working with global teams Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges Passion for working with partners Experience designing and implementing enterprise architectures for Fortune 1000 companies Cloud and/or AWS experience; AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level or AWS Machine Learning or other Big data and ML certifications. The right person will be highly technical and analytical, possess significant experience of software development and/or IT and networking implementation/consulting experience. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams. Experience working within the software development or Internet industries is highly desired. Understanding of application, server, and network security is highly desired. Executive speaking and presentation skills Formal presentations, white boarding, large and small group presentations. Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment. Understanding of Agile methodologies, and the ability to apply these practices to Analytics projects. Highly technical and analytical, possessing 10 or more years of analytics platform implementation or operations experience. Deep understanding of database and analytics technologies in the industry including MPP, Relational, and NOSQL databases. Implementation and tuning experience in the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, including tools such as Hadoop Streaming, Spark, Pig and Hive. Understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and experience of machine learning models to production. Implementation and tuning experience of Data Warehousing platforms, including knowledge of Data Warehouse Schema Design, Query Tuning and Optimization, and Data Migration and Integration. Experience of requirements for the analytics presentation layer including Dashboards, Reporting, and OLAP. * Visible IT Industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to enterprise IT infrastructure * Experience working with/for partners and knowing the market landscape * International sales and delivery experience w/ global F500 enterprise customers and partners * Use of AWS services in distributed environments with Enterprise Software * Advanced degrees in engineering and/or business * Cloud and/or AWS experience; AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level, AWS AI/ML certification
