Job Description

The incumbent should be able to perform as a functional tester working as part of the BPM team and be able to test the application as per the testing strategy, log and track report and ensure that the predefined standard of quality of the BPM application is achieved.Your client responsibilitiesMaintain a clear channel of communication with our client, understand the functional requirements, derive testing strategy, testing plan I collaboration with the project manager and align the client product owner/scrum master/project manager on the progressYour people responsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of junior/ senior testers.Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)Technical skills requirements

  • Should possess good hands-on testing experience in Pega 7.x/8.x platform(s).
  • Prior experience of creating test strategy, test plan, test cases and test logs
  • Prior experience of demonstrating the application to client and onshore counterparts
  • Work collaboratively with development and BA team to track and close defects
  • Prior experience o working in the QA/Agile tools like HPQC, Jira, Pega Agile Studio etc.
  • Should be able to work independently alongside the Dev and BA team to shoulder the responsibility of testing modules on his/her own and provide quality deliverables
  • Should be able to responsibly sign-off SIT, ensuring minimal defect leakage to UAT
  • Should be able to work collaboratively with UAT users and guide them through the application
Additional skills requirements
  • Preferred to have a Pega certification (CSA, CBA etc.)
  • Candidates having prior experience in Pega frameworks (e.g. CLM, CS, Marketing etc.) are preferred
  • Preferred to have prior experience in working in an agile set up
  • Candidates with additional experience in automation/performance/security testing ae preferred
