Job Description

  • Up to 5 years of working experience in IT organization
  • 2-3 years of working experience in performance testing
  • Hands on experience with web (HTML/HTTP), webservices (REST/XML), TruClient and Oracle NCA protocols.
  • Should be able to analyze and interpret performance test results and give recommendations.
  • Should be experienced enough in deriving performance use cases, on distributed systems
  • Understanding of Non-Functional Requirements, Key Performance Indicators, performance parameters for performance testing
  • Solid experience with more than one performance testing tools like HP LoadRunner, JMeter . Gatling
  • Solid experience with one of the monitoring tools like -Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk NewRellic
Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test scripts based on NFRs.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Track performance testing metrics & report results, track defects
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Key Skills:
  • Highly flexible so you remain agile in a fast-changing business and organizational environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Should be a strong team player and maintain a healthy environment within the team
  • Good understanding in Test management & Defects management.
  • Exposure to interactions with cross-functional/cross-technical teams.
  • Strong scripting knowledge of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, Java is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CD/CI frameworks and service virtualization in performance testing context
  • Strong knowledge of programming language: Java, C++, Visual Basic
  • Some knowledge on code tuning and performance engineering
