Job Description

As part of our EY-DET-FS team, you will help clients develop their next generation digital transformation strategies, solutioning, product development also cloud migration. Working with EY-DET-FS. proprietary frameworks, you will help clients determine the best way to digitalize their businesses. This includes developing cloud-based solutions, defining transformation strategies for finance and insurance sector.The opportunity We re looking for an Architect with expertise in Technical Strategy Consulting to join the leadership group of our EY-DET-FS Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.Your key responsibilities

• Should have managed such projects end-to-end right from migration strategy, assessment, solution design, architecture, planning and execution.
• Perform Application Portfolio / Workload assessments for Cloud Transformations.
• Gather migration requirements interacting with multiple stakeholders and Application Owners.
• Prepare Migration approach / Design for all Application architectural components.
• Must to have Exposure to Cloud migration technologies such as Azure Migrate & Cloud Pilot.
• Should have worked on cloud migration using 3rd party migration tools.
• Execute Application / Workload migrations to Cloud spanning across multiple technologies Java / .Net/ PHP
• Execute Application / middle ware upgrades across multiple platforms Windows / Unix / Linux.
• Execute database version upgrades across vendors / platforms
• Should have experience in working migration projects from on-premise to Azure or AWS, experience on Azure is a plus.
• Should have worked on migration of various on-premise resources and services, including applications, to Azure Cloud.
• Should have experience in migrating physical servers / VMs / Physical Server / RDS / VDI / Active Directory / Firewall/ Office 365 / Remote workstation deployments etc. to Azure Cloud.
• Should have good experience in services like Backup, Disaster Recovery, Certificate Services, Auditing, Encryption etc.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, Create and follow SOP, Run Books and process documents.
• Strong understanding of the entire MS Azure product and services suite of products and their applicable use cases, best practices and implementation, and support considerations.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and vendors.
• Experience working in a consulting environment preferred.
• Team player, ability to be able to work with virtual teams
• Ability to work in a variety of client settings and platforms

To qualify for the role, you must have

• BTech/ MTech OR Master s in Computer Applications
• 10-15 years of sound industry experience.
• Strong architecture & hands-on experience on any one Public Cloud environment (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Strong architecture & hands-on migration experience of multiple technologies - Java/ .Net/ C++
• Strong hands-on experience on multiple databases and versions SQL / Oracle / MySQL
• Strong knowledge on multiple platforms - Windows / Linux/ UNIX platforms such as Solaris, AIX, HP-UX
• Configuration management and infrastructure automation platforms, e.g. Chef, Jenkins, Terraform
• Awareness of application migration issues spanning multiple technologies.
• Strong communication skills
