It does so by deploying applications, managing multiple clusters, and enforcing policies across multiple clusters in a hybrid cloud environment at scale.The ACM team is looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to gain hands-on experience with open source and Red Hat products during a summer internship to join us as a front-end software engineer. In this role, you will work on a project, with other summer interns as well as our established engineering team, to improve ACM s application developer experience.You will work in an environment where diverse perspectives are invited, the best ideas are valued, and people feel empowered to contribute. • Work with others to solve customer problems
• Collaboratively describe and size the work to be done and then implement the solution
• Write automated tests for the continuous delivery pipeline
What you will bring
• Ability to work full-time May-August
• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Experience with Github/Zenhub
• Coding experience in languages like JavaScript (front-end framework / Node.js) or Python
• Familiar with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, IBM Cloud
• Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux operating system (any distribution)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team collaboration
The following are considered a plus:
• Previous code contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on GitHub
• Familiarity with Agile development
• Knowledge or experience with any of the following:
  • GoLang
  • Kubernetes
  • Shell scripting
  • Continuous integration
  • Analytics
  • AI technologies
