PowerBI Developer Job DescriptionThe Sales Transformation PowerBI Developer will be responsible for developing PowerBI driven solutions for the commercial organization at Kimberly Clark. This will include the analysis, design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment and support for applications enabled by PowerBI. applications within Trade Promotion area. Performs leading-edge work and develops innovative approaches/solutions. The role collaborates with other IT application Functional Engineers, Product Owners, business/functional subject matter experts, Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architects and Analytics DesignersScope/CategoriesThe role will report to the RGM / TPM / Data Lake regional manager. The role will not have any direct reports.Key Interfaces: Regional Business Partners, Regional Business SMEs, Functional Consultants, Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architects, Data & Analytics team, and Project Managers.External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers. Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.The scope is Global with all KC categories for the sales and TPM / RGM functions.Key Accountabilities

• Overall PowerBI Lead Developer for the Sales Transformation group (RGM, TPM, Data Lake)
• Understand business visualization, analysis and design requirements, and convert them into the interactive PowerBI Dashboards, reports, infographics, etc.
• Prescriptive problem solving with the business by providing options and recommendations to help make the right visualization decisions
• Diagnose business processes or organizational problems, and leverage analytics to determine how customers can seize new opportunities.
• Guide external vendor partners on the review and resolution of operations and break fix incidents.
• Influence and move the K-C culture to one that values and uses cross-business and functional data and analytics to power business performance.
• Collaborate with product vendors to influence product roadmaps and delivery of features based on agreed SLAs
• Build relationships with internal and external service providers and support teams to ensure operating efficiency and stability

Key Qualifications and Experiences

• Experience in understanding business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
• 7 years of Experience of using Power BI as an Enterprise Reporting Solution. Extensive experience creating dashboards, infographics, websites, portals and interactive visual reports using Power BI
• Strong knowledge in writing DAX formulas, data formatting on Power BI desktop. Extensive experience using advanced calculations and transformations in Power BI.
• Excellent knowledge of connecting Power BI to various data sources like Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Datawarehouse (DW), Snowflake, SAP HANA, SQL Server, Excel/Text/CSV flat files, etc.
• Deep experience in Testing and troubleshooting complex data-intensive applications with expertise in error handling
• Familiarity with Authorization management in PowerBI, based on region, country, etc.
• Familiarity with various process modeling techniques (activity hierarchy diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, workflow diagrams, system interface diagrams)
• Thorough understanding of dimensional modeling, modeling for reporting applications, normalization techniques, forward-engineering and reverse-engineering techniques.
• Experience with data analytics and strong data modelling skills required
• Expertise in Performance Monitoring, fine-tuning and optimization of dashboards
• Knowledge of visual design principles and best practices
• Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources
• Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines.
• Ability to operate in a digital workplace utilizing modern technologies to connect, collaborate, communicate and co-operate across a global organization and across organizational boundaries.
• Experience leading IT projects and/or programs with strong SDLC experience including Agile/Waterfall methodologies
• Has strong leadership skills and exhibit creative thinking to be able to come up with inventive solutions to solve business challenges.
• Understanding of functional aspects within the Digital Sales, Revenue Growth and Trade Promotion capabilities will be a nice to have
• Consumer Products experience will be a nice to have
• Self-motivated to keep up with industry trends and disseminating information across the organization.
