Job Description

    Stepping Stones Academy is a premium preschool located in North Bangalore. Our curriculum blends the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches, fostering creativity, independence, and holistic development. We are seeking passionate and skilled educators to join our team and help shape the bright futures of our young learners.Key Responsibilities
    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with our curriculum, blending Reggio Emilia and Montessori methodologies.
    • Implement Jolly Phonics to build strong foundational literacy skills in young learners.
    • Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
    • Observe and document children progress, providing individualized support where needed.
    • Engage with children through hands-on activities, storytelling, music, and art.
    • Collaborate with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
    • Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom environment, ensuring adherence to all school policies.
    • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
    Qualifications
    • Education: Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
    • Certification: Diploma in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or equivalent is preferred.
    • Experience with Jolly Phonics teaching methodology is mandatory.
    • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
    Skills and Attributes
    • Strong knowledge of child development and early education best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Creative, enthusiastic, and patient in working with young children.
    • Ability to plan and execute age-appropriate activities.
