Job Description

  • Technically responsible for Bluetooth FW for newer or existing chip.
  • Represent Bluetooth FW team in cross function team
  • Doing requirement feasibility and effort /time estimation
  • Architect/Design , implement and test new controller features.
  • Maintain and support controller FW for existing chips
  • Develop /port / optimize peripheral drivers , boot- up code , low power mode , performance improvement etc for existing or newer chips
  • Create or enhance ROM build structure for newer chips , develop scripts to automate unit testing , Verify ROM code in co- sim environment
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Generate documentation including diagrams , charts and other tool to ensure the delivery and maintainability of a quality product
  • Work cooperatively with all personnel and functions at Cypress.
Skills

1. B.Tech or MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years experience in developing Embedded FW

2. Strong in C programming and RTOS /OS Concepts,

3. Knowledge of internal working of one of the embedded OS, Linux, Android is a plus

4. Sound knowledge of ARM Architecture and ARM development tool chain

5. Candidate with previous protocol development, knowledge on Bluetooth, familiarity with UART, SPI, SDIO, I2C, I2S is a plus

6. C++ and C to C++ interconnection knowledge is a plus

7. Good communication skills.
