GLOBALFOUNDRIES Computer Integrated Manufacturing team is seeking highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to become part of our NorthEast CIM team in Bangalore, India. This is a specialized application role with expertise in C, C++ and Java/JEE technologies. The candidate must have strong analytical thinking, communication, and software design skills. The candidate will contribute to development, deployment, and maintenance of technology-based business solutions. The candidate must be skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.Specific ResponsibilitiesHigh level technical expert in designing C/C++, J2EE or other Object-oriented language applications to ensure they are robust, extensible, and easy to maintain. Demonstrate expertise in design patterns, technical decisions, architectural standards, guidelines and best practices. Demonstrate excellent ability to communicate to all level of management in written and verbal form. Provide project leaders with timely and accurate status of the development tasks. Develop analysis-level documents that reflect the requirements, Maintain system and design documentation, and prepare materials for project reviews. Responsible to deliver high quality, reliable software solutions to manufacturing facilities to promote a highly automated manufacturing environment. Work with application DBAs, Server Support and other internal IT groups on development activities. , Required QualificationsBS degree in computer science, software engineering or information technology discipline or equivalent years experience 6+ years professional software development experience 5+ years hands-on experience in design and development using C/C++, Java, J2EE or other Object-oriented technologies. Solid understanding of Web Services WSDL, SOAP, XML Strong in database technologies: O racle/DB2 and writing query languages (SQL ). Knowledge of and experience with Analysis and Design Patterns
