The successful candidate will be responsible for the 1st and 2nd line support of, and continuous improvements relating to, a range of specialist subsurface applications in the Upstream oil & gas domain.This includes routine support activities and documentation, and the opportunity to suggest new tools, processes, or ways or working which enhance the service, the user experience, reduce inefficiencies (effort, elapsed time, or cost), or eliminate risk.The successful candidate will have knowledge of Subsurface (or Petrotechnical) applications such as Petrel, Techlog, Coviz, Geolog, Exceed and OpenSpirit. Experience working with cloud-hosted applications, or in an agile methodology would be an advantage.This role is part of a global team, with colleagues around the world, and will involve some shift work, in order to fit in with the team s 24-hour service provision. You will be expected to document solutions and undertake work collaboratively with colleagues in the team, while also having the opportunity to work with both a developing AI and automation agenda, and an emerging Dev/Ops methodology.This role requires a customer oriented attitude, with excellent user communication abilities, ability to understand the subsurface domain context and business imperatives, and a proactive approach to work. It is imperative that we work with urgency and primacy to deliver quality service on behalf of the business, and possessing the right mix of character to augment technical skill is of paramount importance.Mandatory Skills: Upstream Application Support Risk and Regulatory Compliance, Consulting Desirable Skills:Language Skills: English Language
