Position OverviewThis position is for the Engine & Environmental control systems at Global Engineering Center - India, Bangalore.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the design & architecture for small to medium projects. 1.Designing control for closed loop systems, Software systems modeling and simulation2.Responsible for on time delivery and quality. Identify flags and handle escalations. Review all deliverables / reports generated by the team and suggest improvements.3.Development of control/ software models4.Working with multi- disciplinary teams such as project engineering, software engineering, electrical design, safety and reliabilityThis position requires delivering System comprising of multidisciplinary productExperience in the following areas is Mandatory:- Complete systems development life- cycle: Requirement, Design, Integration and Verification- Design assurance determination using SAE ARP 4754- System Safety Assessments using SAE ARP 4761 (FMEA, FTA, FHA, CMA etc.)- System Architecture trade studies- Requirements Management including System level requirements definition from Customer requirements- Proficiency in Model based design principles- Digital Filter Design, Control design & analysis and tuning in lab & field environment- Sensor Integration for control application including BIT- Experience with ARP 4754 and familiarity with RTCA DO- 178 S/ W Certification standards. - Matlab / Simulink tool expertiseExperience in the following areas is strongly desired:- Technology development and Product Innovation focus- Provide inputs to Product & Technology Roadmap.- Coaching and mentoring to develop successors. - Provide input on project schedules and budgets, - Strong problem solving and analytical capability. - Ability to perform / lead design reviews, non- advocate reviews and project reviews- Basic principles of hydro- mechanical/ hydraulic and/ or electro- mechanical actuation systems- Basic principles of Thermo- fluid SystemsRequirements: B.E/ M.E. in Electronics Experience: 9 to 12 years experienceNote to candidates regarding interview scams: Wed like to make it clear that UTC Aerospace Systems never asks candidates for money.
