Roles and responsibilities Position OverviewThis position is for the Air Management Systems of System Modeling group at Global Engineering Center - India, Bangalore.Job Responsibilities:Model construction and analysis of thermal fluid systems air, liquid, vapour- compressionSteady state and Dynamic plant model & control model development Steady state thermodynamic cycle analysis and dynamic process control analysisValidation of dynamic system modelsCompetencies:More than 10 years of experience in dynamic and steady state Modelling/ Simulation skills using object oriented modelling tools like Modelica/ Dymola, AMEsim, Easy5 or similar simulation environment.Experience in using Matlab/ Simulink for model development and scripting.Working knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics of Pneumatic and liquid vapour cycle systemsCoaching and mentoring to develop successors. Strong problem solving and analytical capability. Ability to perform / lead design reviews, non- advocate reviews and project reviewsProvide input on project schedules and budgets.Desirable:Experience in thermodynamic cycle design, heat transfer device design and/ or continuous and discrete process controller designExperience in Air Management Systems (Environmental Control, Engine Bleed Air Regulation, Air Distribution, Gas Inerting System)Technology development and Product Innovation focusProvide inputs to Product & Technology Roadmap.Requirements: B.E/ M.E/ PhD in Mechanical (Thermal)/ Mechatronics / Chemical Engineering with min 10 years of ExperienceNote to candidates regarding interview scams: Wed like to make it clear that UTC Aerospace Systems never asks candidates for money.
