UTC Aerospace Systems Sensors and Integrated Systems is a leader in advanced Air Data Systems technologies, Aircraft Data Management Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Fuel Systems, Stall Warning Systems, . Our innovative technologies and growth have created the need for a Systems Engineer / Senior Systems Engineer in Bangalore India.This position will support the development of state of the art Air Data Systems, Aircraft Data Management Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Fuel Systems, Stall Warning Systems for commercial, military, regional and business aircraft. The Systems Engineer will need to exhibit technical knowledge of advanced avionics, flight controls, stall protection systems and/ or aerodynamic principles with technical expertise on Software Architecture Design and Development.The Systems Engineer will need a broad- based system design and development background (electronics, software, avionics) with a preferred focus on modern avionics integration.The Systems Engineer will need to work with limited written and verbal direction, monitor the work operations of team members, and be motivated to expand the product base of the respective product line by identifying high- value solutions for our customers.Job Duties: - This position requires delivering System Design , Development and Integration of multidisciplinary products. - Proficiency in Requirement Management Tools, Design and Simulation tools- Wireless communication protocol development / implementation / testing, computer network analysis and N/ W algorithm design/ implementation, Network modeling and simulation and Model based design principles. - This position also requires serving as a liaison to prepare, track, and review RMS (Reliability, Maintainability and Systems Safety) impact due to changes in requirements, HW or SW changes.- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare successful product specifications, reports, schedules and other documents.- Participate in internal and customer design reviews, Provide input on project schedules and budgets, Strong problem solving and analytical capability. Ability to perform on aircraft troubleshooting of installation issues or operational problems. Ability to perform / lead design reviews, Non- advocate reviews and project reviews. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Experience in the following areas is strongly desired:- Complete systems development life- cycle: design, development, integration, and test- System level requirements definition- wireless communication protocols: Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, IEEE.xx, IEEE./ WLAN. - knowledge of PHY, MAC layers and IP protocol suites and performance analysis- communication N/ W Modeling and Simulation- Familiarity with ARP 4754, ARP 4761 and other Aerospace standards.- RTCA DO- 178B S/ W Certification standards.- Fault Tree/ System Safety AssessmentsParticipate in organizational initiatives like- Technology development and Product Innovation- Provide inputs to Product & Technology Roadmap.- Coaching and mentoring to develop successors.Requirements: BE/ ME in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Electrical from top college with 11 to 13 years total experience.Note to candidates regarding interview scams: Wed like to make it clear that UTC Aerospace Systems never asks candidates for money.
