Job Description

As a Senior IT Business Analyst at our company, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between IT and business stakeholders, with a focus on Salesforce.com development and UX/UI design. Your strategic thinking and deep understanding of IT systems and business processes will enable you to translate complex business practices into actionable technical requirements. Here are your key responsibilities:- **Stakeholder Engagement**: - Collaborate with business product owners and subject matter experts to gather and document business requirements. - Act as the business process expert for Salesforce.com, providing insights and clarifications to enhance the integration and utilization of Salesforce.com solutions.- **Solution Design & Integration**: - Work closely with development teams to ensure IT solutions meet business requirements. - Facilitate communication to ensure functionalities are aligned with business needs and integrated effectively with other IT systems. - **UX/UI Design**: - Lead the UX/UI design process for IT solutions, creating intuitive and effective user interfaces. - Experience with Figma is preferred but not required.- **Systems Specifications**: - Develop and configure system specifications to address business requirements and fit with the companys system architecture standards, including Salesforce.com.- **Compliance Standards**: - Ensure software compliance standards are met and that Salesforce.com solutions adhere to these standards.- **System Interfaces**: - Evaluate interfaces between systems and operational requirements, including how Salesforce.com integrates with other systems.- **System Parameters**: - Establish and document system parameters and formats, ensuring compatibility with Salesforce.com.- **Process Improvement**: - Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to streamline operations and improve service delivery.- **Documentation**: - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Salesforce.com and other IT solutions.- **Liaison Role**: - Act as a liaison between the development team and business product owners to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.In terms of qualifications, we are looking for someone with:- 7-10 years of experience with a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Business systems Analyst or similar role.- Proficiency in UX/UI design, with Figma experience preferred.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Preferred Skills:- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI).- Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems.- Experience with change management and training initiatives.Please note that Alcon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a diverse environment where discrimination is not tolerated based on various factors.
