Job Description

    HANA Specialist - Required skills/activities:1. Detailed Knowledge of HANA Architecture 2.0 (Distributed HANA DB Architecture)i. System DBii. HANA DBiii. Index server2. Knowledge of HANA Admin activities including:i. Performance Tuning, Monitoring Memory and CPU Utilizationii. Troubleshooting Expensive Queriesiii. Troubleshooting Connectivity problems and Network Performanceiv. Troubleshooting Configuration Parameter Issuesv. Monitoring System s and Resource Utilization.vi. SQL trace analysis3. 2 to 5 years Advanced Level of experience in HANA Platform Admin and Support activities.4. Working experience of at least 2 HANA end to end upgrade projects.5. Expertise in design & creation of Information Models in HANA using Attributes views, Analytic views, Calculation views (both Script based & graphical)6. Advanced level of experience in HANA SQL is must.7. Advanced Knowledge of hosting SAP HANA on Hyperscalers like GCP , AWS and Azure is a must.8. High level knowledge of SLT and BODS.9. Working experience of how to identify existing solutions for SAP HANA issues.10. Working on SAP Notes and engaging SAP Vendor Team.11. Knowledge of HANA Security (Overview of Users/Roles/Analytical Privileges).12. Working closely with Basis team, Security Team, BODS Team, SLT Team and BOE Team.
