Job Description

*Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience., *Achieve highest levels of Performance, Scalability, Reliability and High-availability of Oracle Products: Oracle cloud (PaaS/SaaS/IaaS) and Application Integration Architecture. The Oracle PSR Team is dedicated to delivering highly efficient, scalable, and reliable products that meet or exceed customer requirements.Responsibilities

  • Improve the performance and scalability of Oracle cloud Services like PaaS /SaaS & IaaS components.
  • Test, debug, and measure the performance of the implemented features; identify the performance and scalability bottlenecks using the relevant profiling tools , deployment tools
  • Develop optimizations to improve performance and scalability of product, drill down production issues and provide resolutions
  • LCM life cycle of Oracle products.
  • Stay current with programming/debugging techniques and relevant development environments
Basic Requirements
  • Min 4 years industry experience + BS in Engineering or Science
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality results
  • Attention to details and excellent analytical skills
  • Debugging and drilling down the production issues with help of different tools

Java and Object Oriented Technologies Basic knowledge of java language syntax and OO conceptsIdea of java program execution, error handling and tracing execution flow through source filesExposure with runtime aspects of a Java application2.
