In this role , you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds and work on cutting - edge technology in data center computing.Works closely with Architects , understand the gaps in product / solution and leads the team in implementing those Coordinates with SMEs of different teams in Citrix that are working on the delivering the best solution to the customers in building an infrastructure for the modern applications architectures. Design and implement Layer7 proxy and solutions based on the Layer7 proxy in Docker and Kubernetes environment for data centers on - prem and cloud. Design and implement highly scalable control plane in Kubernetes / Istio Service mesh Design and implement application delivery solutions in Azure , AWS , GCP BS / MS in CS / EE or equivalent 12 to 15 years of proven design and development skills in complex applications and systems software Proficient in C , Python and Go Good Computer Science background Architecture , Algorithms , Data structures. Broad system level knowledge , preferably with Unix variant Good analytical and problem solving skill. Experience in OOPs and Multi - threaded programming Preferred SkillsHands on experience in designing and implementing controllers in Kubernetes / Istio Excellent debugging / troubleshooting skills both at protocol level and systems level Good understanding of Networking in Microservices environments like Kubernetes / Dockers. Exposure to Flannel / Calico / Weave will be good. Good understanding of Service Mesh architecture like Istio. Good understanding of Cloud technologies and hands on development experience on AWS / Azure / GCP Exposure to Agile Methodologies Self starter - highly motivated and able to work productively with minimal guidance Capability to lead a small team in delivering the software progressively in short sprint cycles. Strong team player with ability to deal with stress Should be able to prioritize tasks Should have the ability to deliver high quality software under aggressive release schedules Should work collaboratively with other engineers , and be willing to take on any engineering tasks that contribute to progress towards the goals of the team and of the company.
