Job Description

*We are seeking a results-oriented expert with relevant technical skills in next gen technologies and financial services industry experience. The associate is required to drive projects in Next Gen technologies from the idea conceptualization to execution with the help of a team. The associate s key differentiating abilities will be exceptional analytical skills, and an ability to conceive of and develop differentiated solutions for the benefit of Fidelity s customers.The Expertise we re looking For

  1. Hands on development skills.
  2. 6-8 + years of industry experience with at least 2+ years in Financial Services industry and 2+ years in Next Gen technologies.
  3. B. Tech with good track record in coding
  4. Extensive experience in written and oral communications/presentations, and ability to produce a variety of business documents (business requirements, technical specs, slide presentations, etc.) that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought, and orderliness of presentation
  5. Experience in emerging technology research with internal and external clients
  6. Specific certifications web services, blockchain, AI, ML
  7. Good Ranking in coding competitions like google code jam etc.
The Purpose of This RoleThe Brokerage Research & Innovation Centre (BRIC) is a team dedicated to driving next generation customer experience for our financial advisor and hedge fund clients. In short we are a start-up within the corporate.The Value You DeliverIn this role as a Principal Software Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for Managing projects in cutting edge technology applications including scalable web interfaces, blockchians, AI-ML and web-based chatbot (virtual assistant) solutions. Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to)
  1. Conceptualizing, developing and implementing intuitive and user friendly interfaces for the various projects/applications that BRIC team undertakes
  2. Researching and experimenting with the latest tech stack to develop intuitive user interfaces for chatbots and other internal data analytics solutions
  3. Understanding business requirements to deliver quick prototypes
  4. Creating algorithms, visualizations and data representation models using modern visualization techniques
  5. Be completely hands on, have an immense desire to learn new technologies, and experiment with these technologies to come up with innovative solutions
The Skills that are Key to this roleTechnical Skills
  1. Proficiency with web technologies, AI & ML use cases and implementation of algorithms.
  2. Good knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience, and experience in integrating UI with RESTful API services
  3. Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
  4. Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects
  5. Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback
  6. Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed

Across Fidelity Institutional, our support is used by 300+ Correspondent banks, 5000+ Investment Advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+ hedge funds, and we are capable of handling over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300 million shares. The FBT India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.,
