Job Summary: The Principal Solution Architect , D&T , SAP Basis SAP Basis Manager leads a team of basis administrators who perform strategic design , maintenance and monitoring of all SAP systems. This position manages medium to large size projects of average to high complexity , coordinating project activities to ensure the timely development and delivery of reliable and efficient systems - related solutions to business requirements , managing to schedule deadlines. The manager will provide guidance and hands on Basis technical leadership to the team in the installation and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC , BW / Hana , S / 4 , PI / PO , solution manager , Portal SRM). He / she will plan , design , document , budget and lead the basis This role has primary accountability for the delivery of projects , system enhancement and production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Deep expertise , understanding and knowledge of SAP system functionality and technical understanding of SD , GTS , TM and related areas (WM , QM , PM , MM , PP) At least 2 end - to - end implementations of SAP ERP with experience on latest ERP release. Ability to manage a team and drive delivery with collaboration of local and global teams. Detail Technical & Planning Workshops / As - Is Due Diligence & To - Be Blueprint Demonstrated experience to manage Early Watch report analysis and knowledge of platforms like SAP HANA , Upgrades and Migrations. Migrating , administering and supporting SAP ECC , SAP SCM , Solution Manager , GRC , Fiori and BW / BI and HANA DB. Functional knowledge and experience with Solution Manager 7.2 Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high - pressure environment. . Ability to work autonomously in a fast - paced & complex environment with a self - motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency. Proficient English language skills Willingness to global travel Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target Able to comply with the company s safety and quality policy at all times Physical and Travel Requirements 15% travel , including global travel Occasional on - call work required Prefer 12pm 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
