  • Work with a SQL ServerMicrosoft stack-based Business Intelligence System
  • Develop SSIS ETL packages based on business requirements
  • Develop Business Intelligence solutions using Multidimensional and Tabular Cube technologies
  • Assist in DBA responsibilities, backups, performance tuning, troubleshooting
  • Identifying opportunities for Automation and implement them through required approval
  • Complex query tuning and schema refinement.
  • Responsible for reviewing requirements, contributing to design components of ongoing and upcoming projects, and effectively estimating development effort
  • Responsible for developing and documenting the systems, processes and logic required to build system to system integrations
  • Responsible for contributing to data modeling/database design efforts
  • Responsible for delivering quality data integration projects
  • Responsible for hands on development using SSIS and ETL tools and processes
  • Lead and recommend viable solution for Azure implementation methodology (as required)
  • Stay up-to-date on techniques and components being used in the industry through research and applies this knowledge to systems being developed
  • Pro-actively identifying changes needed in the environment lifecycle and make recommendations for improvements with the subsequent implementation
  • Monitor ETL applications for performance and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure the quality, consistency and security of company data and data warehouse systems
The Qualifications:
  • 8 years SQL Server Development experience required (SQL Server 2012 onwards)
  • Deep understanding of SQL Server Integration Services
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques for both SSIS and SQL
  • Familiar with Data Warehouse concepts and experience with Star Schema a plus
  • Knowledge of data modeling and designing databases
  • XML, JSON, PowerShell, Rest API experience
  • Good knowledge in Azure implementation
  • Good knowledge in Dashboarding through Power BI or any other equivalent tools.
  • Good knowledge of metadata, and using/managing metadata
  • Experience with SQL Server Analysis services, Tabular and Multidimensional
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models. Experience with Redgate Backup tools a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently
  • Ability to work within an Agile and ITIL framework
  • Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities
  • Microsoft certifications a plus
  • Experience with API based integrations a plus (we use various cloud applications as data sources)
