The global portfolio of products APP negotiates, builds and manages includes Gift Cards, Co-brand Credit Cards, Private Label Credit Cards, Shop with Points, Installments, and Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers and buyers. APP also manages MAPLE, the machine-learning powered marketing automation and recommendation engine which drives acquisition and engagement for payments products worldwide. APP products contribute to increasing Amazon s share of customer wallet and are frequently ranked among the top DSI, Prime acquisition, and Prime renewal drivers across marketplaces. To this goal, we are continually raising the bar on how our global customers pay for Amazon and integrate with 100s for banks, credit card issuers, new age digital payment networks etc. Were pushing the boundary of user-interface design, performance, scalability and reliability. Our team has passionate and talented software engineers, program managers, designers and product managers.We are looking for a seasoned program manager who can help us deliver long-term product vision, feature definition of related products discovery program for worldwide buying experience team. You will also be responsible for providing scalable platform solution to hundreds of internal business and tech teams who would wants to improve related product discovery experience. You should be customer obsessed and enjoy engaging with and helping all types of customers ranging from Amazon shoppers to internal partner teams. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with fast delivery time, rapid iteration, and data-driven decision-making. The right candidate will bring a good mix of experience with big data technologies, ML, product management skill set, and a roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial approach.As Principal TPM, you will collaborate with highly-talented team of Tech leaders, Program/Product managers, Business leaders to continuously push the boundary and build next generation Consumer Payments business. You will be leading program(s) which would directly impact millions of customer and local vendor partners. You will also set best in class program management practices across Amazon and vendor partners to ensure we are executing programs with lower time-to-market and able to stay ahead of curve on customer expectations. This is highly visible role directly interacting multiple business and tech leaders across Amazon and key vendor partners (Bank, Credit issueing partners, new-age digital payment networks., An undergraduate degree in software-product management, computer science, or equivalent experience required. 12+ years of experience in software development. 5+ years of technical program management experience. A proven track record of delivering initiatives from conception through completion on time, within budget and on or beyond scope. Requirement gathering, definition, and documentation experience Managing release schedules Excellent listening, writing skills and strong technical competency are essential Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with executives and technical teams. Prior experience in managing multiple external vendors and their dependencies Deep hands-on technical expertise Strong business and technical vision Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
