Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:Scope of Work Job Title : Steel deliveries and supply management
    1. Monitoring of Steel availability at steel mills and on-time fulfilment of supplies
    2. Monitoring of orders released from Tier1 vendors to Steel Mills
    3. Monitoring of RM coverage at Tier1
    4. Establishment of early warning system : Alert Material coverage visibility
    5. Coordination for actions initiated for release of alternate Sources, concessions / ECRs
    6. Scheduled calls with LOP / PUR to ascertain surprises of non-reported steel items and component coverage
    7. Daily and Weekly meetings with steel suppliers to discuss on plan vs actual, bottlenecks, WIP, pushing them to cast and roll the material
    on priority
    1. Resolving operational issues that (reducing mistrust). Release of overdue payments Enabling picking of material made ready against
    confirmed orders Handling Sudden order cancellation Orders placed on short noticeSkill set requirements
    • Basic knowledge in Logistics, Steel production process, terminology used in steel industry, order handling and delivery mechanism used by steel mills and suppliers .
    • Basic knowledge in MS Office, MS Excel
    • Preferable Power Bi tool
    • Good in English Communication
    • Minimum 2 year of Experience
