Your RoleThe Procurement Project Manager is part of global organization that delivers impact to multiple businesses within Philips. The role manages all procurement activities for high impact, complex transfer projects that enables Philips to reduce risk, improve profitability, align with Philips strategic supply base and optimize supply chain flexibility. In addition you will perform project management role for the STET leadership to ensure data integrity & other PMO activities.You are a part of:A high-impact, global organization within Philips that works across all modalities The Supplier Transfer Excellence Team (STET). STET has been established as an entrepreneurial organization that focuses on fast-paced, high-quality portfolio transfers within the Philips global supply base to mitigate risk & maximize profitability.Responsibilities:Support the business case development for transfer projects & drive RFQ process to deliver the business caseIdentify target costs and manage product costs within transfer projectsResponsible to develop, communicate, and manage detailed Procurement project schedules that support higher level program schedules, ensuring communication within Procurement and cross functionally.Ensuring the achievement of ALL Procurement targets for the project(s) at milestones (supplier support, cost, on time delivery of materials, quality, qualification of parts, processes and equipment)Gather project requirements for RFQ (estimated volumes, etc.)Gathers content and works with the Commodity Manager and Procurement Engineer to define requirements for PLAsEnsure key component release & parts approval (internal activities)Monitor/analyze to ensure accuracy of multi-tier BOM s (completeness of structures, effectivities, etc)Overall management of Cost Savings Projects - manage STET cost savings funnel under the aegis of the PMOX- functional alignment of Phase in / Phase out planning and complex CN/CIPs when assigned said responsibilityManage E2E project execution as assigned by the functional managerProfile:Deep experience with product cost management.Strong project management skills required.Experience with global supplier management strategic and tactical.Knowing and understanding broad business perspective.Knowledge of Supply management strategies and tools.Proven ability to manage relationships at all org. levels.Demonstrated ability in working in a complex/global environment.Education/Skills:Bachelor s degree in Engineering.MBA preferred.8+ years experience in high-tech with a focus on supply chain and/or procurement related function.Analytical and strategic thinkingResults oriented with a strong bias for actionAbility to lead teams and influence cross-functional relationships,
