Job Description

As a product owner, you will be part of the team that is responsible to build our next generation smarts; you will be working with experts in a variety of fields, including clinical & regulatory specialists, UX designers, dental and skin care professionals, system architects and product management.You will be responsible for guiding agile software development teams and managing projects from the conceptual stages through the development cycle. You will ensure that the development processes, architecture and standards are followed. You will also be responsible for the teams code quality and delivery schedule.Job Responsibilities

  • Should communicate with product managers, product owners and other business counter parts to understand the requirements. Should be able to generate needed reports abstracting it at right level for management consumption.
  • Contributes to and reviews program vision, roadmap and content presentations
  • Prepares and participates in release planning, contributes to program increment planning, program backlog refinement, and preparation/prioritization of portfolio backlogs to continuously synthesize into program backlog and then to team backlog.
  • Drafts the team s specific objectives for the program increment
  • Defines iterations and stories for the team(s). Builds, edits, reviews and reprioritizes the team(s) backlog coordinating dependencies with other POs
  • Has the primary responsibility for maintaining the story flow, possibly embedded in the agile team(s).
  • Defines stories and provides input for user story details and priorities, establishes story acceptance criteria, accepts stories into the baseline / the final iteration plan.
  • Supports team(s) with their story estimates and sequencing. Facilitates and leads sprint planning and grooming sessions.
  • Coordinates with other product owners on content dependencies
  • Manages content deliverables and dependencies to external suppliers
  • Facilitates inter-team dependencies in the respective sprints
  • Participates in team demo and retrospectives.
  • Works with other product owners to produce the system demo, delivers system demo for his scope to the business owner and product management team
  • Ensures validation of the system with the client.
Job Qualifications
  • 10+ years with relevant Product Owner experience of minimum 2 years
work experience on systems used in healthcare or consumer electronics is a plus.
  • Working knowledge on Cloud based systems, Data AI/ML and associated tools.
  • Experience in working in project teams, involving SW designers, SW engineers.
  • Firm decision maker and shall possess good influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to stay focused on the target in an ambiguous situation.
  • Openness to collaborate in interest of project/organization.
  • Shall be very good technically; possess systems mindset and good problem solving abilities.
  • Working with multisite teams, Quality conscious and Process & customer Oriented.
  • Coaching capabilities.
  • Has a good understanding software engineering principles and specifically of life cycle activities
  • Has required engineering knowledge to be able to solve problems effectively
