Job Description

PRODUCT SALES MANAGER:1. Job Analysis Summary DescriptionThis position is charged with the responsibility of managing the Product Lines, Business Development and Program Management ensuring that we achieve the revenue and strategic goals assigned by the vendors and by Management.2. Job Analysis - Major Responsibilities

  • To manage the product line targets for all India and ensure that the assigned goals are met.
  • Coach PSE/PSC/sales team for achievement of Design in/Design win targets for assigned regions.
  • Keep updated on vendor, industry, technology, pricing, demand and vital product information.
  • Provide periodic formal and informal information to Sales team on product updates & strategy.
  • Do periodic monthly and quarterly -ATV-Actual, Target and Variance analysis with management
  • Identify measures to increase the margins / revenues
  • Execute product promotion programs to expand presence and raise promotional funds
  • Build strong and supportive relationships at all levels within the vendor organization.
  • Achieve mutually agreed annual Metrics/goals.
  • Recommend new product lines and strategies to increase business revenues.
  • Manage Strategic Programs assigned by developing suitable eco-system and measures
3. Decision Making Authority
  • Identify focus products / markets / customers and train the sales & support team.
  • Customer visits and travel based on approved budget.
