Job Description

We have a job opening for production in charge for stator product Bangalore,Position: Stator assembly production in charge BangaloreQualifications:

  • Education: E / B. Tech/ Diploma - In Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
  • Work experience :BE-/B. Tech - Min 8+ years in the Manufacturing or Diploma 14 Exp in Manufacturing of stator product

Good communication and interpersonal skills.Requirements and Responsibility:Technical competencies
  • Knowledge on Electrical motors
  • Strong process knowledge and experience in stator manufacturing.
  • Process knowledge on Winding, Brazing, Welding and Electrical testing are preferred
Production Management
  • Production planning and scheduling for each work center and ensuring rhythmic output.
  • Conducting daily morning meeting with operators and managers to communicate SQCDM status.
  • Focus on daily improvements involving all the team members.
  • Resource (Man, Material, Machine) planning and allocation.
  • Monitoring daily output of each Man/ Work center as per plan.
  • Work order tracking and closing as per Work order due date.
  • Prioritizing the customer critical parts based on communication from planner.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams for executing projects, improvement actions.
  • Trouble shoot machine/equipment related problems and coordinate with Maintenance team for quick resolution.
  • Efficiency monitoring for all operators and analyzing the gaps and devise action plans for improvement.
  • Multiskilling of operators in all stages and update the skill matrix on regular basis.
  • Ensure Trainees are properly oriented and trained.
  • Tracking Tools and consumables and monitoring fixtures availability.
  • Updating project motors resource availability checklist & adhere to project plan.
  • Update weekly SQCDM performance on boards as part of Visual Management standard.
EHS
  • Knowledge about various Safety standards and EHS related statutory requirements.
  • Identify and make daily EHS improvements.
  • Training the operators and ensuring 100% EHS compliance in department.
  • Ensure operators use prescribed PPEs while working.
  • Improving shop floor operator involvement in EHS by involving them in audits, Safety committee meetings.
  • Participate regularly in Safety walk/ Gemba walk along with Management team.
  • Ensure all the near miss cases, incidents/accidents are reported immediately and
Quality
  • Daily tracking of FPY and action planning.
  • Participate in Daily Quality meeting to address critical Quality related issues.
  • Achieve Zero Customer complaints (Internal/External) through more focus on process.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve the Quality level of the process.
  • Ensure the process adherence to WI and Standard work.
  • Work on Quality improvement projects using DMAIC/A3 methods to reduce rework/rejections.
  • Problem solving with the team using QC tools or 8D Methodology.
  • Conduct FMEA, Process Audits along with Quality team members.
Lean Manufacturing
  • Improving associate involvement in Suggestion, Kaizen, and Quality circle by training and motivating.
  • Knowledge about different types of wastes present in value stream and constantly work towards eliminating the waste.
  • Knowledge about different lean principles and its application.
  • Active participation in CIP workshops and initiating new CIP.
  • Creating VSM and identifying VA and NVA to draw VSD with CIP projects.
  • Following up CIP projects with A3 project sheet.
  • Improving 5S in the department by training and motivating the associates and frequent audit.
  • OEE Monitoring for critical operations and improving OEE as per plant target.
Improving visualization in the department by implementing different visual management standardsIR
  • Attending Technicians grievance and timely escalating the issues to the management.
  • Ensuring the shop floor disciplines for Technicians on adhering to the work place standards.
  • Recording and escalating the operators disciplinary or behavioral issues.
