Job Description

    Designation / PositionProduction ManagerJob Description (Minimum 250 characters)*POSITION OVERVIEW: We are looking for an experienced Production Executive to organize and oversee goods manufacturing. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. The ability to direct personnel toward maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, wed like to talk to you. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements. The Key areas of responsibility include:Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements Estimate costs and prepare budgets Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines Monitor production to resolve issues Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers, etc.) Determine the number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment / materials etc. Ensure output meets quality standards Enforce health and safety precautions Report to upper management Vendor management / Appointment of vendors for the required works with great ethics.Candidate ProfileCoordinates with all departments to schedule aggressively and realistically. Communicate operational schedule effectively to both those executing and those impacted by the schedule. Provide accurate and timely updates. Inspires the team through thorough and consistent communication, identifying and celebrating wins, and addressing issues timely and fairly. Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments. Collects, evaluates, analyses, and assesses production data. Educates manufacturing team on how to use this data to evaluate team performance. Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects. Provides clear and urgent feedback. Regularly inspects and provides guidance on good manufacturing practices and compliance to cleanliness standards. Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.Key Search CriteriaExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies. Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques.SkillsProven experience as a production Deep knowledge of production management Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts Experience in reporting on key production metrics Proficient in MS Office and daily reporting Outstanding communication ability and mange day to day production requirement Excellent organizational and leadership skills Attention to detail Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach Qualification is 1 year+ experience in same field
