Job Title : Manager - Production Reporting to : Director Operations Main Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure that machines and assembly areas are effectively utilized. To liaise with planning and ensure the weekly / monthly production plans are implemented with the necessary feedback of any current or potential problems. Maintain shop floor documentation required for production ensuring drawings / manufacturing layouts / CNC programmes / Work instructions, etc are current and to the correct issue. Constantly review existing layout, methods and tooling and where appropriate CNC programmes with a view to reduce in cycle times wherever possible. Ensure before the start of production that adequate tooling is available and where required arrange for new tooling and / or repair or replacement. Deal with quality issues / problems and implement solutions for corrective actions. Ensure that good quality products are produced and that the Company Quality Assurance procedures are worked to Ensure that you work in a safe manner and comply with the Companys Health and Safety Policy. Qualification : BE Mechanical / Industrial Production 15 to 18yrs experience as Production machine shop and assembly Preferred . Experience from hydraulic / Pumps / Motors industries preferred. ,
