Job Description - Production Supervisor
1 Production Planning
Planning of Daily, Weekly Monthly Production activities. Tracking of materials availability Ensuring for meeting the plan at each stage
2 Production
Prepares/updates work flow monitoring and work instructions and other ISO related documents . Report generation .Investigates and eliminates technical problems in the cells trains operators. Knowledge on EMS Assembly activities. Able to do the rework activities in PCBA boards Meet Plan Vs Actual Cycle time reduction with process improvement, automation and multi skilling Must be having the testing experience as per applicable standards
3 Continuous improvement
Searches for improvement opportunities to avoid production stop and increase effectiveness participates in root cause analysis and problem solving. Investigation of issues and proposing solutions to the lead engineers and Principal Production Engineer.
4 Supporting the quality engineering function
Liaising with engineers and suppliers to overcome day to day product and quality issues.
5 Product Knowledge
Supporting the engineering department for New Product Development and provide them the cost reduction proposals.
6 Manpower Handling and safety guidelines
Able to handle Minimum 50 Manpower. Train them according to their work allocations. Make them to follow the safety guidlines as per company standards. Motivate the people towards production tools like 5S,Kaizen,Poke-yoke implementation.
7 Material Handling
Effectively handle the electronic and mechanical items in all aspects like quantity and quality.
8 Machine Equipment Handling
Ensure safe use of equipments.TPM implementation.maintaing safe and clean environment
