Job Description

The Finance & Admin Business Analyst is essential to the ongoing profitable operations for one of the most globally recognized and respected companies in the world. By overseeing our financial activities, you will enable IBM to continue to bring to market ground-breaking innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure, and Blockchain technologies, to name a few.Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Monitor completeness of bank statements and trigger remedial actions with the bank
  • Download statements from banking portals, transform and upload to Trax
  • Provide group treasury with Customer Company information required for KYC process for new bank/bank accounts
  • Perform reconciliations and report reconciling items to Group Treasury and Country finance teams
  • Monitor approval status of initiated payments
  • Compile monthly collections summary report detailing volume/value of sales Transitions by tender type with associated fees
  • Estimate/Re-estimate AP, tax, manual payment & AR driven cashflows
  • Perform period end administration - Run accruals, Mark to Market & currency translations
  • Prepare central bank / regulatory reporting
  • Identify root cause of interface issues between various systems like TRAX, Quantum, SAP etc. & work with functional / technical teams to get it resolved
  • Manage relationship with Banks & has exposure to managing Financial Instruments
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 5+ years overall professional experience in Financial domain with minimum 3 years in Treasury Operations.
  • Proven experience in Corporate Treasury or Cash Management operations.
  • Excellent Client handling experience with strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills, can work independently and with a team
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and have been part of change management initiatives.
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Enhance technical skills by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications etc.
