As we evolve from primarily Nokia-provided stacks to supporting a broader spectrum of public cloud and customer-provided K8s environments, CSFP will also evolve in support of the recipe architecture to provides the required flexibility for these environments. As part of recipe implementations our team will provide CaaS configuration tooling, PaaS service implementations and expertise in configuring the services provided in the various cloud environments. This will initially include AWS EKS, OpenShift, and VMware Tanzu, expanding to other environments throughout the year. You will primarily work with our R&D teams in India and Poland as well as our North American product managers.As Nokias growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. You will enjoy a great deal of autonomy and will be encouraged to take on responsibility. You will be exposed to a lot of technologies (Kubernetes, Helm, Go) and will have the opportunity to learn and develop expertise in them.The Program Manager has the following responsibilities:

• Working with multi-disciplinary program team, develops the program plan and leads the program milestone decision preparation, pre-reviews and review sessions.
• Ensure program risk management is in place and pro-actively manages mitigation activities.
• Fosters collaboration between teams and system-level stakeholders.
• Following the SaFe methodology, the Program Manager will act as the Release Train Engineer (RTE), leading and facilitating Program Increment (PI) planning readiness.
• Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) by delivering features, Improvements, Proof of Concept, etc.
• Drives the ART Scrum of Scrums meeting and tracks execution of ART deliverables via periodic synchronization meetings.
• Escalates and tracks ART impediments, helps to manage risks and dependencies across teams - takes execution decisions impeding deliveries across teams.
• Facilitates relentless improvement for the ART via Inspect and Adapt workshops
• Fosters Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices
• Ensures common practices are followed across teams (e.g. Tools, Templates, Method of Operation, etc.)
• Facilitates Program Kanban and collaborates with other RTEs in the Solution Train.
• Finally, because we are an international company, you will often have to interact with teams located abroad. Supporting technical conversations in English and knowing how to work with people from different cultures are therefore essential.

Your skills and experience

• 8+ years of program/project management experience.
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in Integration/Deployment, technical support, and technical project management.
• SaFe Program Consultant (SPC) Certification
• 1+ year experience managing a project using the SaFe Methodology or Agile Development.
• Software Engineer degree or MS in computer science
• Operating system: Linux / CentOS.
• Cloud / Virtualization: Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Harbor, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, .
• DevOps: Jenkins, Git, Gerrit
• Excellent communication skills and team player.
• A strong command of the English language is required and excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
