Job Description

Skill Set Required Able to lead a team and handle Pan India Construction, design & development Programs Leading multi-disciplinary teams for Program deliveries Preparing, Publishing and ensuring adherence to Program gantt Charts ( MSP / P6) drafting reports and making callouts Regular Follow up, meetings and updates to Stakeholders n ManagementResponsibilities of the program manager The program manager is responsible for: Delivering the program end to end within timelines n budgets planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, calling out dependencies and initiating appropriate corrective action defining the program s governance arrangements n chairing Program meetings ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the program, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other program and corporate, technical and specialist standards managing the programs budget on behalf of the Program Director, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the Program progresses facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the Program plan and Program governance arrangements ensuring there is allocation of common resources and skills within the Programs individual projects managing third party contributions to the Program managing communications with all stakeholders managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects managing risks to the Programs successful outcome working with the business change manager or equivalent on the transition to the newbusiness as usual position initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the Programare identified or issues arise reporting the progress of the Program at regular intervals to the Program director if this roleis also definedOn large and complex Programs it may be appropriate to appoint other individuals to support theProgram manager for some of the particular responsibilities listed aboveKey Competencies Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing Analytical and problem-solving skills Decision-making Stakeholder Management Team working Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture Commercial awareness Customer service Organization, time management, prioritizing and the ability to handle a complex, variedworkload,
