We are the Business Data Operations Team which is a part of the DAGS Organization which operates the Amazon Appstore as a part of the Amazon Devices Organization. We are looking for a Programmer Analyst on our team, you will help drive help create scalable applications and support architecture and design through deployment and release. You will help create automation solutions to solve issues related to Developer Royalty Payments. You will learn about Amazon Appstore and help uncover the hidden risks and trends, reduce payment infractions and errors and improve developer experience. This also means building highly sophisticated, data-centric systems that can detect risk patterns across multiple handoffs and transactions. The successful candidate will have experience will have a flair of applying knowledge to resolve ambiguous business problems. This position is on a brand new team and you will play key role in shaping the technology direction of the platforms, services and products owned by this team, Bachelor s degree or equivalent 4 plus years of software development experience.Experience in at least one modern object-oriented programming language ( Python, Java)Experience with web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML)Experience with ETL and SQLStrong analytical and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a culturally diverse environmentProven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and meet stringent deadlinesExperience with AWS technologies (DynamoDB, RDS, S3, RedShift, SQS, etc)Demonstrated ability with Java DevelopmentExperience with Agile development methodologies
