Job Description

  • Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs;studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, and test software solutions.
  • Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using Microsoft ASP.Net and SharePoint Server 2007, 2010 and 2013.
  • Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Applications and Business Intelligence dashboards.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes.
  • Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude required.
Education/Qualifications
  • B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or M.C.A
Experience
  • Familiar with application development tools (e.g. WSS, MOSS 2007, and SharePoint 2010/2013,Visual Studio).
  • Development of SharePoint 2007/ 2010 / 2013 (Web parts, event receivers, timer jobs, application pages, InfoPath forms, SharePoint designer)
  • Development using ASP.NET/SQL Server. Should be able to write SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Must be able to independently perform assigned project as per SDLC process with minimal supervision
  • Experienced in developing custom workflows and applications using C# in SharePoint
  • Good Experience in CAML query, JavaScript/JQuery, CSS and HTML
  • Good at Dashboard designing such as KPI matrices, Graphs and Charts
  • 3-5yrs of hands-on experience in SharePoint integration concepts
  • Able to solve problems in a measured and creative way. Capable of independently assessing a wide variety of tasks, and be proactive in relation to identifying and undertaking activities that are to the benefit of the business. Be responsible for own decisions.
  • Knowledge on other technologies such as Python and R will be an added advantage
