Job Description

Job Description

  1. Comply with standards and procedures in determining the initial feasibility of an awarded project
  2. Define and follow-up of project targets (schedule, cost and function)
  3. Interact with cross-functional and multi-national core team comprising of Engineering (SW, HW, Mechanical), Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management and Logistics as necessary in project completion
  4. Evaluate the technical aspects of Hydraulic components used in the system, performance parameters and endurance testing
  5. Responsible for identifying the risks in the customer projects on the basis of the technical evaluation and create risk assessment for management reviews
  6. Executing Engineering Change Management.
  7. Should be able to interpret and create the contents of Technical Documentations and specifications and Offer Drawings
  8. Perform physical calculations for technical problems, to supplement simulation / testing Good to have
  9. Should be able to create / check the correctness of BOMs by thoroughly understanding the product /project requirements
  10. Harmonize the Project / Product requirements by interacting with Program Management (PjM) / OEMs in understanding the specific needs
  11. Frequent travel to Chakan Plant (ChkP), Pune or working from ChkP and to OEMs are required to discuss project technicalities
Mandatory Skills:
  1. Knowledge of Basic Project Management Processes / PCM role
  2. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with cross functional teams and interact with OEMs in understanding the requirements, so that the project meets Time, Spec and Cost targets
  3. Should be self-motivated; demonstrate driver skills in getting the job done within stipulated time.
  4. Should be a quick learner
Preferred Skills:
  1. Knowledge of CC specific Product Engineering Process (PEP), Quality Gate reviews, etc., / V-Model of development process
  2. Generic overview and knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), VBA scripting & Python
  3. Knowledge in Braking Systems / Electronic Stability Program (ESP ) / Antilock Braking Systems (ABS)
  4. Working knowledge of SAP user level interface to handle production server documents (eg. P99)
  5. Good understanding of Hydraulic Systems and components
  6. Basic knowledge of German language
