Job Description

Deliverables

  • Responsible for proposal/SOW preparation, discussion with the client, detailed planning, tracking & monitoring progress of project.
  • Resource estimation and time estimation for the delivery of the project and aligning resources from technical teams like networks, cloud, server and virtualization teams.
  • Attend kick-off calls and other regular project calls with the customers and provide reporting and meeting minutes as required by the senior project manager and/or technical leads.
  • Ensure that the projects are properly entered into the project management system and documentation and control gates are up to date.
  • Work with the recruitment teams to line up additional resources for future upcoming projects.
  • Track with sales leads, upcoming deals and projects and prepare advance plans for hiring and resource allocation. Handles tasks like reviewing , maintaining and highlighting the changes in project plan. Prepares and maintains weekly and monthly project status reports. Responsible for recording, forecasting, monitoring and budgeting project expenditure. Prepares status reports and updates the same to the Management team and customer teams
  • Working closely with the clients, project manager, lead teams to make sure on each & every delivery.
  • Track vendors and third party service providers to make sure they fulfill commitments on the project.
  • Be responsible for assisting the sales teams to maintain company relations with the vendors at the required levels by coordinating with the delivery teams.
  • Making sure things are going smoothly overall in the project.
Essential attributes and competencies include:
  • 4+ years experience as Project Manager or Project Coordinator in an IT Infrastructure Project area like datacenter management, virtualization or cloud platforms, networking and security solutions etc.
  • BE/B.Tech degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • PMP Certification is a plus along with expertise in Microsoft Project.
  • Willing to work US EST/PST hours.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple way
  • Ability to develop and establish solid and trustworthy relationships globally.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to manage relationships with internal teams, customers, consultants and vendors
  • Ability to influence senior levels internally and externally
