Job Description

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.Sound functional knowledge and experience of middle office services (Order Booking - Trade Capture - Settlement - Asset Servicing - Position keeping - Risk valuation)- Sound technical knowledge and experience in all phases of SDLC, particularly Project management, Analysis / Design, Testing and Support- Clear communication, written and oral. Ability to write technical specifications, articulate functional defects and liaise with multiple dev teams across Middle Office.- Managing coordination between development, QA, Operations, & Product teams globally. Chair sprint calls / defect resolution meetings as needed.- Experienced in the role of Program/Test manager, Test Coordinator or Delivery Manager in a top tier IB or similar sized matrix organization.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Understand requirements gathered from high level BRDs grouped by phased functional delivery units- Understand Data models that various applications across the stack use to cover the functional requirements from service point of view.- Participate in SDLC planning process to ensure functional requirements are met by Tech within the deadlines defined by the program.- Co-ordinate with Dev teams, QA teams, UAT teams and client facing testing teams in various phases of testing and track development vs plan.- Enable and Facilitate testing, Manage environments/static data and enable various dev teams to participate in E2E test of a deliverable.- Triage defects raised, identify root cause, ascertain ownership, and follow up with respective teams (Architects, BAs, Devs, and Testers) for successful defect resolution.- Create defect burnup and burndown charts and represent the same in stakeholder calls / PWG meetings.- Manage milestone tracking and RAG status at L3 milestone level.- Dive deeper in technical, functional, Testing or Managerial roles as needed by the program.
