Project Finance Analyst

Job Description

You will be working as a Project Finance Analyst at ABB, based in Bangalore, India, reporting to the Global Project Finance Manager. Your role will involve supporting the Project Business Controller in various financial and commercial aspects of project execution within the Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division. Your responsibilities will include:- Supporting project manager and controller in all financial and commercial matters to drive project performance- Providing forecast information such as cash flow plan, revenue recognition plan, and cost-to-complete- Monitoring and controlling actual costs and revenues against the budget and forecast- Identifying, analyzing, reporting, and following up on any economical deviations related to recognized revenues, gross margin, actual/planned costs, cash flow, and over dues- Participating in the projects risk management process for early identification of risks and opportunities- Participating in Project Review meetings and updating relevant tools- Ensuring monthly reporting internally and externally and compliance with Accounting & Reporting Policies and internal control proceduresQualifications required for this role include:- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, CMA, CWA, or CA- Up to 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis with a valid passport- Fluency in English with flexibility and willingness to take on responsibility- Proactive and responsible personality with good teamwork and excellent communication skills- Ability to work independently, be result-oriented and structured- Experience in using SAP and relevant Microsoft programsAt ABB, we value diversity and welcome individuals from different backgrounds.
