Project ManagerPosting Location : Location CO-RemotePosting date 2 days ago(12/28/2021 3:24 AM)Job ID 92871 Workday ID R-020080 Category Consulting, Project Management About the job The Red Hat Services team is looking for a Project Manager to join us in Bogota, Colombia. In this role, you will actively manage projects to successful completion from initiation, through delivery, to closure. You ll coordinate, through meetings and progress measurement activities, cross-functional teams which bring distinct, specific projects to completion on time and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will build up and maintain customer relationships and manage customer satisfaction. You ll need to have full understanding of industry-standard service practices and the ability to interact with senior Red Hats and customer management at all levels. What you will do

  • Use Project Management Office (PMO) or agile standards to manage projects
  • Support development of business cases, project scoping, project alignment, and process documentation to ensure clarity and accountability to deliverables
  • Partner with key stakeholders, maintain effective working relationships, and provide timely updates on project progress
  • Manage and escalate project risks and issues as needed, anticipate customer needs and formulate solutions, and in general respond to the variability involved in any key initiative
  • Facilitate project kick-off, stakeholder analysis, lessons learned, board updates, and the integration of work from multiple teams and multiple vendors to deliver project success
  • Ensure that all deliverables and commitments meet quality standards and expectations
  • Provide flexibility in project management support including waterfall and agile methods
  • Guide projects in consideration of organizational change management implications, considering communication, stakeholder management, training, and adoption
  • Contribute to the enhancement and evolution of the PMO standards and processes
  • Develop project management skills within centers of excellence by consulting, mentoring, and enablement activities
What you will bring
  • 5+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Bachelors degree; Masters degree is a plus
  • Degree in business administration, project management, organizational psychology, dynamics, or similar field
  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Experience with and understanding of HR organizations and their services
  • Solid communications, stakeholder, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to translate requirements into user stories, development, and configuration
  • Experience with agile and waterfall project management
  • Ability to manage and respond to change in a proactive and productive manner
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze complex data to identify potential risks and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; good at working with technology and subject matter experts in the business
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
